Who knew 4SJ cut albums?!
Strange question for you... I remember a Halloween record from about first grade (probably cut in the 1960s) with the title, "Tonight Is Halloween."
I can hear the tune in my head, but the lyrics are hazy, something corny about "Ride your broomsticks. Ride them high. Ride your broomsticks through the sky. Toniiiiight is Hall-o-ween."
Any chance you've heard of this?

CJ: Huh, nothing is springing to mind but it sounds like it could be cool. Do you maybe remember any more info? Like was it little kid-ish, or maybe something you sang (perhaps like something off of this) or this, or more like a "Monster Mash" rip-off type thing you heard on the radio? (Heh, & of course I'm assuming it's not this recent song with, you know, none of the lyrics you mentioned.)

Historically, the robot community has been largely ignored by the music industry.
Thanks for bringing this rare gem to light! I plan on playing it this weekend to help set the mood when that hot shiny gynoid from the auto plant will be coming over for drinks and WD-40.

The song I was talking about was definitely intended for young children. It was probably meant for in-class sing-alongs.
It was more of a Tom Glazer-type song than anything you'd hear on Dr. Demento.

I'm a bit late to this post but better late than... etc.
What a great listen and then it hit me that I'd heard bits somewhere before! Samples from Tin Age Story are used in MFRFM (Music For Robots) by Japanese musician Yoshinori Sunahara on the album Crossover.
